Mission: My mission is to enrich the lives of my clients by helping them understand and appreciate their ancestors in the historical context in which they lived their lives and have fun with the pursuit of knowledge regarding their family histories!
Family History Research Experience
I have conducted research on my own family history for many years as well as research for friends and clients both US and European.
I have experience consulting and advising beginners and do-it-yourself family historians.
I have experience locating and analyzing vital records, US and State census records, city directories, obituaries, military records, immigration and naturalization records, passenger lists, land and probate records, and preparing professional reports with my research findings.
I have experience in obtaining digital copies of family history records in US and Europe by utilizing familysearch.org, ancestry.com, fold3.com, and national and state archives.
Research facilities that I utilize include Family History Center, Abraham Lincoln Library, National Archives, state and county vital records, and various historical societies and libraries.
